About Line of Love Sculptures

This specific series titled The Line of Love Sculpture series communicates through the light of humanity, true love. The creative topic deals with all kinds of love -- motherly, between friends, or romantic. Starting from a solitary life to the establishment of a family, the pieces combine to communicate the deepest emotions and the unbreakable ties of loving hearts.
This series is created by twisting coils together and then making them hollow to represent the lines of bodies and limbs. The stretching ends represent arms and the round balls represent the head and the number of characters in a specific piece. The outline of each piece is simple with flowing agility. They compliment each other to show the warmth of deepest love.
I have spent many years designing this series. About two hundreds pieces have already been completed; they are designed for future landscape sculptures. Additionally, some of them have been enlarged. I also made some miniature sculptures for gift collections. They are originally made with porcelain clay, but in the future it is possible to use bronze, stone, wood, and steel in order to complement the size of the display area. For example, they may be displayed in a park, garden, or on table-tops.
The Line of Love Sculpture series can be marked as my
most complete project and one that contains the most numerous designs. This
series was exhibited at Taipa-Houses Museum in Macau 2006. Some pieces have
been exhibited in the M.I.C. Faenza 2003 International Ceramics Exhibition (Italy)
and ARTS 2004 Juried Exhibition at Surrey Art Gallery (B. C).
Four pieces of my work are selected for the 2008 Olympic
Landscape Sculpture Design (Beijing China). I wish to express my heartfelt joy
for having completed this project. I am genuinely grateful to my parents, my
family and collectors for their trust and support.
I hope that eventually one day this complete series will
be arranged in a beautiful garden or public park called
The Line of Love Sculpture Garden which will bring people from
different places together..
